About the artist... John Peitzman (JP) - AKA John Rhodes...
John Peitzman “JP” (AKA John Rhodes) was the Global Operations Director for the Chief Security & Privacy Office at Electronic Data Systems (EDS) on September 11, 2001. In this role, JP was responsible for protecting the underground Data Centers running the Reservations and Flight Operating Systems for the airlines involved in the attacks. As the events unfolded, he quickly became a primary security liaison to US federal agencies - assisting in our nations security response and investigative measures. On a personal side, having an extensive creative and performance background, including owning his own Record Label, CrossRhodes Entertainment, he was moved to write a song. Or, as JP would tell it, the song was moved to be written through him. Each verse tells a different story, from a different perspective of one of the many victims affected. From a person in the first tower hit, to a career solider who thought he finally had a ‘safe’ desk job at the Pentagon. The lyrics and inspirations behind each section can be found on the "Lyrics & Inspriation" section of this website.
